Terms of Service

By creating an account or using the metrico.studio service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

metrico.studio provides an online tool that generates sewing patterns (in SVG and PDF format) based on body measurements you input. The Service is provided on a credit-based ("Metricon" / "MTC") and subscription basis.

• SVG pattern preview is provided free of charge upon login.
• PDF download consumes Metricon credits per generation based on construction mode: Forma (40 MTC), Misura (50 MTC), Precisa (60 MTC).
• Credits are acquired through one-time packages or monthly/annual subscriptions.

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
• One person may not maintain more than one account without prior written consent.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably suspect are used for fraudulent purposes.

• Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value. They cannot be exchanged, traded, or transferred to another account.
• One-time credit packages do not expire. Your balance carries over indefinitely.
• Subscription credits accumulate in your account for as long as your subscription remains active. If your subscription is cancelled or lapses, any remaining subscription credits will be retained for a 30-day grace period. After that period, unused subscription credits expire permanently.
• All prices are shown in the currency applicable to your region and include VAT where required by law.
• Payment is processed by Stripe. By making a purchase you agree to Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

When you generate and download a PDF pattern using the Service, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for personal use and permitted client work as described below:

• Print and use the pattern for personal sewing projects.
• Sew garments for individual clients using their measurements (one pattern per client), including as part of paid sewing, made-to-measure, or alterations services.
• Share finished garments made from the pattern (crediting metrico.studio is appreciated but not required).

You may not:

• Sell, resell, redistribute, sublicense, publish, or otherwise offer generated patterns as standalone digital or printed products without a separate written agreement with ZARIA s.c.
• Use patterns for mass commercial production, team or enterprise workflows, or white-label services without a separate Commercial License.
• Reverse-engineer the pattern generation algorithm or scrape the Service programmatically.

Additional business-use rights may be governed by the Commercial License published on our website.

Body measurements you enter remain yours. We use them solely to generate your patterns and to store your measurement profiles at your request. We do not share individual measurement data with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

If you enter measurements on behalf of a third party (e.g. a client), you are responsible for having the necessary consent. See our Data Processing Agreement for the applicable data processing terms.

You agree not to:

• Use automated scripts or bots to generate patterns or consume credits.
• Attempt to circumvent credit consumption or access the PDF generation API without authentication.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

Patterns are generated algorithmically. While we strive for accuracy, we recommend making a test garment (toile) before cutting final fabric. We are not responsible for fabric waste or sewing outcomes.

If you are a consumer (a natural person acting for purposes outside your trade, business, craft, or profession), you benefit from mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes those rights.

If you use the Service in the course of your trade, business, craft, or profession, the consumer-specific provisions of section 10 do not apply to you. Business users requiring a Data Processing Agreement should review our DPA. For commercial use rights, see our Commercial License.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, metrico.studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

You may delete your account at any time from your profile page. Upon deletion, your measurement profiles are removed within 30 days. Payment records are retained as required by law.

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, with notice sent to your registered email where reasonably practicable.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Poland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Poland, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under the mandatory laws of your country of residence.

These Terms are published in English and Polish. In the event of any conflict between language versions, the English version shall prevail for non-Polish users, and the Polish version shall prevail for users in Poland.
